Our forum brings together experts in economics, business, policy, and academia to discuss and develop solutions to issues such as income inequality, climate change, and economic growth. We believe that by fostering dialogue and collaboration between these diverse groups, we can create a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
EFSD events feature panel discussions, keynote speeches, and workshops on a variety of topics related to sustainable development. We also provide networking opportunities for attendees to connect with others who share a passion for economic sustainability.
Ultimately, EFSD goal is to be a leading voice in the conversation on how to build a more sustainable and equitable economy that benefits all people and the planet. We Encourage, Promote and Support Sustainable Development
It falls under our main goals and focuses on promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Together with tackling serious economic matters in GCC, the Middle East, and the world, we also study how SDGs can be applied. Our aim is also to create an economic vision for countries that have been drained economically especially after a war. We work with leading economic professionals, academic experts, researchers, and companies to create economic visions. As for the private sector, we create special B2B forums and network events that are good for business and deliver our vision to concerned parties to maximize economic growth.

HOW WAS THE EFSD ESTABLISHED
The idea of establishing the Economic Forum for Sustainable Development dates to 2017, when Professor Manahel Thabet, a Saudi Professor of Economy, specializing in financial engineering and mathematics, accepted a broad invitation from the directors of independent economic institutions to an informal meeting in the City of London. This took place in the UK in February 2017.
The EFSD was launched at the British parliament with the support of APPG as an independent forum. Many events were launched later on to support the direction of the EFSD.
